As providers of child care and education it is recognised that the pre-school setting can be invaluable for new students with intentions of working in this field. Therefore a pre-school setting may be the ideal place for study. As a group we welcome students willing to peruse their chosen career in this field and follow the policies below governing placements. These policies protect our children in our care.
- The needs of the children are paramount. Students will not be admitted if the number hinders essential work within pre-school.
- Students who within their course work are required to make observations, will need written permission from the child's legal parent / carer.
- Any information obtained by the student from children's families or other adults must remain confidential.
- A student unless registered as a fit person will not have unrestricted access with / to children.
- Students must be confirmed by tutors as being on a bona fide course.
