We recognise that Parents are the main educators of their Children and play an important part in their development. Children need consistency to feel comfortable and secure.
It is the aim of all the staff at "Kids first" to work in partnership with Parents to meet the needs of all the Children in our care. Individual learning plans are set for each child by keyworkers and parents termly.If your child is in the early stages of toilet training we will work with you to meet your child's individual needs Please feel free to talk to any member of staff about your child. All information is kept confidential at all times and will never be discussed outside of the group.
Parents are welcome in group at any time. We run a voluntary Parents rota. This helps us build a relationship with Parents, and keeps Parents in touch with the groups activities. We sometimes need Parents help with emergency cover, (at no time will we have less than 2 qualified staff).
Information on the term's themes and curriculum are always in the day book, notice board and curriculum folder. We are always looking for ways to make learning fun and interesting, if you can help with idea's, have a special skill or interest, or have a religious festival you wish us to cover please do not hesitate to see a member of staff.
Working in partnership, your child can grow and develop in a fun and secure environment. Any contribution from parents on whatever form is always welcome.
