Through the different activities at pre-school, children are able to express, explore, respond and communicate their ideas.

The different art activities let the children explore and use their senses. Finger painting, hand prints let them explore colour and texture.

Collage work with sweet wrappers, lentils etc. making paints, playdough, junk modeling allows children to experiment in a safe environment where no mistake can be made and a child will not be ridiculed.

Making musical instruments allows the children to explore sound. We then use these instruments during our singing circle and allow the children to march along with the music.

During song time the children are able to choose their favourite songs, thus the group as a whole join in the single songs and these become familiar to them all.

When the house - shop are out the children use their imagination to re-enact trips they have experienced.

Dressing up allows the children to express different feelings.

At register time children are given the opportunity to discuss with the group their experienced and for the remaining group to listen.

Whilst using the climbing frame the children learn what is safe and unsafe. They learn from the space they have about them and other members of the group.
